hi everyone!
This is it! After a year of touring around Switzerland and continental Europe, we're taking a little break. We have one last gig planned in Geneva, this coming Saturday, 30th August 2008. It's a private party but we may arrange for an invite if you write us an e-mail at chapter@music-by-chapter.com. We'll then be taking some well-deserved holidays on our secret yacht down on the Mediterranean (we wish)!
The end of the tour is not the end of Chapter though, as we're planning to record our third full-length album before the end of the year. Studio dates have been planned for November. Stay tuned for extracts and other goodies.
In the meantime, both albums are still available on iTunes and from our distributors (links are below).

Rough Trade have announced Chapter - Two (the Biographer)'s release in Luxemburg, Belgium and the Netherlands, for the 17th July 2008. The band is planning a week-end tour in August (01-02/08) and a Northern tour beginning of October (03/10-12-10).

hi everyone,
at long last we can post some news. Our website had been hacked by some crazy geezers, but our IT geniuses managed to get it back.
In the meantime, our MySpace page was updated with regular news, so we hope you could follow up on everything that was happening. Yes, we've been on tour around Europe and we had a hell of a good time. Rough Trade have taken us on for Benelux, and will promote and distribute our second album starting in May. We've got a few concerts lined up for the summer, with a week-end in Belgium. We're planning a little tour up North end of September-early October. We had a great time two days ago playing with Syd Matters. Everything is running along smoothly and Chapter are a happy bunch of people! Recording for Chapter III should officially start at the end of 2008.

We've once again moved the deadline for "poster contest". You now have until the 31rst January to send in your projects. Since we've seen the amount of work some have gone to, we've decided to up the winning ticket to CHF 250.-.
We'll be printing the poster on some nice recycled paper (brown) unless specified otherwise. We're not putting any logo or anything else at your disposal, we're asking you to come up with your own Chapter-inspired project. Size will be something like A2 or A3 (taylored to your project hopefully) unless specified otherwise. We'll be selling those posters during our European tour next March, just so we can cover the costs of the printing. Please send your projects by the 15th December at this address:

We're really sorry to announce that we have to cancel our show for tonight at the Usine. Alex has unfortunately lost his voice. You can still go and watch Alela Diane (US) and PollyAnna (FR) at the Théâtre de l'Usine or Hell's Kitchen at the Docks in Lausanne tonight.
We apologize profusely for this last minute cancellation.
